In accordance with SMV Resolution for Material Events and Reserved Information and Other Communications N° 005-2014-SMV-01, Credicorp Ltd. complies by notifying you of the following Material Event.

 

In the framework of the announcement made on January 11^th, 2017 to the market through a Hecho de Importancia (Material Event), Credicorp Ltd. has transferred over the Bolsa de Valores de Lima to its subsidiary, Grupo Crédito S.A., 268,500,000 shares of Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP) owned by Credicorp Ltd., which represent 3.80% of BCP’s share capital. The price paid per share was 5.51.

 

The information in this Form 6-K (including any exhibit hereto) shall not be deemed “filed” for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (the “Exchange Act”) or otherwise subject to the liabilities of that section, nor shall it be deemed incorporated by reference in any filing under the Securities Act of 1933 or the Exchange Act.
