Re.: MATERIAL EVENT

 

Dear Sirs:

 

We hereby notify you as a Material Event that the company S&P Global Ratings confirmed its long-term credit risk ratings of 'BBB +' and the short-term 'A-2' of Banco de Credito del Peru (BCP) and Mibanco, Banco de la Microempresa SA (Mibanco), both operating companies of Credicorp Ltd. The outlook for both entities was changed to negative from stable. In line with the above, S&P revised the economic risk trend of its Risk Analysis of the Banking Industry (BICRA) of Peru to negative from stable, given the more challenging economic environment that Peruvian banks are facing. Regarding Credicorp Ltd., S&P reaffirmed the long-term credit risk rating ‘BBB’ rating and stable outlook because it considers that the revised economic risk trend doesn't immediately affect them.
